Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) was developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson based on the pineal gland peptide Epithalamin. It activates telomerase in somatic cells, leading to telomere elongation. Human fibroblast studies showed cells could exceed the Hayflick limit. Khavinson's 15-year study showed 1.6u20131.8u00d7 reduction in mortality in the treated cohort.
