Overview

PT-141 (Bremelanotide / Vyleesi) is a cyclic heptapeptide melanocortin receptor agonist. FDA-approved for HSDD in premenopausal women. Unlike PDE-5 inhibitors, it acts centrally through MC3R and MC4R receptors in the hypothalamus u2014 increasing dopaminergic signalling in reward and arousal pathways. Effective in both women and men.
