Overview

Semax (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) is derived from ACTH(4-7). Approved in Russia for stroke, TBI, and cognitive decline since 2011. It dramatically upregulates BDNF and its receptor TrkB, as well as NGF u2014 neurotrophins essential for neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity, and long-term potentiation.
